Golden State Landscaping was founded in 1979, and incorporated in 1998. The company was founded in Livermore, California as a small firm with repeat business and a loyal client base that developed into a long term working relationship. Throughout the years the company grew and became a "Turn Key" contractor capable of performing grading, concrete, masonry, interlocking pavers, segmental walls, ornate woodworking, drainage, irrigation, planting and maintenance. We insure that every job recieves the highest level of quality, service, and attention to detail because every client and project is important to us.
The expansion of GSL Construction in 2008 gave us the opportunity to perform on union projects. GSL is signatory to the following Unions; Operating Engineers, Northern CA Laborers, and Cement Masons.
The core of GSL's operations continues to be striving to do the best job for each client and maintaining relationships. We take pride in conducting ourselves with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity. John Redfern, Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman, is a self made man who is still active with all day-to-day operations.
